As part of the Cruises platform team at HolidayCheck, we identified a significant problem with the vacancy check process: the long waiting time to verify offers availability due to the high number of cruise operators. To solve this problem, we proposed an innovative solution that included a loading state with relevant information to help users select their preferred cabin type and associated animation to create empathy and emotional connection.

As the lead designer for this project, I created a ship illustration on Figma that effectively communicated the vacation experience while providing clarity to the user. I also developed an engaging animation using After Effects and exported it as an animated SVG using Lottie, taking advantage of its fast loading and vector quality, which can be implemented directly as code.
